Canvas Stretching
Canvas stretching is a regular request from Riverbourne Framing’s customers. Canvases come in many forms, shapes and sizes from printed canvases to painted canvases on differing canvas types.
Riverbourne framing will advise on the most suitable stretcher moulding to suit the size and type of canvas supplied (stretcher mouldings come in many sizes and shapes).
Many customers request a straight forward gallery wrap stretched canvas where the image is visible at the side of the stretcher moulding and then hung unframed. However some customers require their stretched canvas to be framed.
There are many traditional frame styles to choose from as well as on trend styles such as float frames in which a canvas is set to look as if it is floating within the frame.
